The aim of this course is to prepare students for the IGCSE/O Level Math exam, and beyond, to A Level Math courses. Students will gain experience with the type of subject material they will be taught and become familiar with the concepts and answering exam questions. You will also gain an understanding of how to communicate and reason using mathematical concepts.

Computer science

Students will hone their computational thinking and problem-solving skills in order to create computer-based solutions based on algorithms and programming languages.
Students will also understand the ethical concerns that come with existing and new computer technologies.
Also studied are information representation, communication and Internet technologies, hardware, software development, and relational database modelling, and how to design and develop a software project(for ZIMSEC students).

Information technology

In this course, you will learn about the structure and application of IT systems in a number of scenarios.You will learn about practical IT solutions for businesses and creative digital technology, as well as new and emerging technologies and their societal impact.
You will have mastered both the theoretical and practical parts of the topic at the end of this course.
You will learn how to construct databases and spreadsheets, edit images, music and video files, animation, and website design and development in practice.

ZIMSEC project seminar

Firstly, please keep in mind that your ZIMSEC computer science project accounts for 30% of your overall final exam mark. It is consequently critical to devote sufficient time and effort in order to achieve an excellent overall grade. This seminar is designed to assist you in doing so.
You will learn how to identify problems in your environment that can be solved using software. Following that, you will learn how to design and construct a solution to the problem in your preferred language. Simultaneously, you will learn and write the requirements, design, and solution in a comprehensive design document.

Do you want to learn the core algorithms and data structures used in computer science? This course is for you! In this course, Algorithms and Data Structures, you will learn foundational knowledge of several common data structures and associated algorithms. First, you will learn about arrays and the asymptotic analysis of algorithms. Next, you will discover several data structures including linked lists, stacks, queues, binary search trees, and hash tables. Finally, you will learn how to apply this knowledge to answer exam type design questions.
